I propose that Jupiter's icy moon Europa would be a perfect place to host a Winter Olympics, I'm sure it would take a couple of hundred years to be viable but by that time it might be the nearest place for winter sports.

Went out last night for a late meal and got home a little while ago, still have to go to work soon, well I guess my study of sleep deprivation starts again. 23 hours so far and at least 15 till I get to try and sleep, this is going to be fun!!!

A few months ago a friend's 15 year old daughter gave me a list of music to try out, to test my cool factor and after giving it all a chance she asked me to pick my favorite, so I told her and she said I rock and then showed me this video and I started laughing and said "80's hair metal for a new generation!"

So in my boredom today I broke out one of my fun spring pranks. A cooler full of snow with a uncleaned fish, a 4-6 foot ditch full of water and then I stand there with a fishing pole. In one hour 8 cars stopped to laugh at me and one guy came back with his own fishing gear believing the fish in the cooler was really caught there.

In a conversation about the bad science in movies my co-worker ask me to come up with an original plot point for a disaster movie and I thought about this reactor.
In my thought process, I may be wrong, I figured if you changed a couple of variables like a higher compression of the uranium and removed the moderator you could have a run away reaction occur naturally.
Now if you placed this event at the wrong place and time (In the height of the Cuban missile crisis) you could have either a great doomsday movie or an even better political thriller where the knee jerk reaction gets averted at the last second.

Most of us have heard the story of a person taking a nasty blow to the head and suddenly being able to speak a language they couldn't before, well last Sunday I got a bad concussion in a car accident and sometime in the fog of the last few days the above story came to mind and ever since I have been listening to as much French content on mp3 as I can. With only a couple of hours a day that I can look at a computer or TV with a whole lot of time in a dark, quiet room I needed an idea to kill the time if not feed the confusion.

I work with some really dangerous chemicals and every once in awhile we get a new employee that's about as bright as a 3-watt bulb, this sign would be prudent in such cases.
